demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners,

10: 9-10
That if you
confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your
heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is
with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your
mouth that you confess and are saved.

not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you
received the spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, "Abba,
Father."

Romans
3:23
In other words: In order for us to
receive eternal life on our own, we would have to be perfect. But we are
sinful from the time we are born (Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth
in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.), so we all fall short
of God's standard of perfection. We cannot get eternal life on our own
because we already fall short of its requirements.

Romans
6:23a
In other words: God is a holy God. He deals perfectly with sin.
God cannot let sin go unpunished. The penalty we earn for sinning is
spiritual death, that is, we are separated from God. Since we are born
with sin, there is nothing we can do on our own to remove its penalty.

5:8
In other words: God loves us and knows we cannot gain eternal
life on our own. He loves us so much that He was willing to pay the
price for our sins Himself. The consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord.), so God became a man, Jesus Christ, lived a
sinless life, and gave up His life for us in order that our sins would
be forgiven and our penalty of death would be paid in full.

10: 9-10
In other words: We receive God's gift of salvation by believing
that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ paid the price for our
sins. We believe this through faith. We are not saved merely by saying
that we believe in Christ. We are saved only when our words are saying
what we believe in our hearts. Faith is more than internal belief. It
demonstrates itself in external action.

6:23b
In other words: Since Christ paid the price for sin (death), we
are now offered an eternal relationship with God. This gift is offered
freely by God. We don't deserve it, nor can we ever do anything to earn
it. It is offered simply because it pleases God to do so, and we are
able to have it because Christ paid our price of eternal death
(separation from God).

Romans
10:11
In other words: There is no shame when we believe and follow
Christ (Romans 12:2). We no longer need to fear what anyone else thinks
about us (Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body, but are
unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both
soul and body in hell. / Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings
of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that
is to be revealed to us.) because we know that we are saved from our
sins and will be with God in heaven forever. We No longer fear God
punishing us because all our sins (past, present, future) are forgiven
(Romans 8:1)

In other words: As a result of our faith in Christ, we are now
children of God. Just like you will always be the son or daughter of
your earthly dad, you will always be a child of God. Nothing can ever
change that. God loves us so much that he wants us to know Him
intimately. That is why we call Him "Daddy," which is what the
word "Abba" means.

You
have read the word and are aware of your
need and now YOU must now make the most important decision of you life,
to accept Jesus and be with God in heaven forever or to reject Jesus and
live eternally without Him.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus I know that I am a sinner, but you have said that if I
confess with my mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in my heart
that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. I believe this is
true and do believe with my heart that Christ died for me. Forgive me my
sins and come into my life Lord Jesus.
Amen!
If this prayer was from your heart your life will show it. You are now a
child of God. Just like you will always be the son or daughter of your
earthly dad, you will always be a child of God. Nothing can ever change
that. God loves you so much that he wants you to know Him intimately.
That is why we call Him "Daddy," which is what the word
"Abba" means.
Now study
the Bible and get involved with a local, Christ centered church and tell
the world that you are a child of God.
